The Supporting Strategies franchisees rate the majority of our questions above the benchmark- with technology, communications & the amount the franchisees feel involved in company decisions at the top of where they are really outperforming the benchmarks.
Franchise Business Review has worked with over 1,100 franchise systems. We independently contact all open and active franchisees and invite them to participate in our satisfaction survey. As a new franchisee, it’s important that you feel like part of the Supporting Strategies family. When you sign on with us, you will be assigned a dedicated Onboarding Specialist responsible for helping you establish and launch your business by coordinating your systems training, product and service education, tech set-up, etc. and serve as your ‘go-to’ resource through Year 1. Additionally, you’ll work with our Growth and Network Engagement leaders and teams to develop a sales and marketing strategy and hone your skills. Our Talent Acquisition team supports all facets of your hiring needs. At the one-year mark, you will be assigned to a Franchise Support Network group with 6-8 other franchisees. This is a mutually beneficial symbiotic relationship, where members are encouraged to support and advise each other as you transition from ‘rookie’ franchisees to prosperous business owners.

Our model is based upon the franchisee leading and operating the business day-to-day as ‘Managing Director’ and yes – like any other venture it absolutely requires your full-time undivided effort, attention, and ingenuity to grow. As a home-based business, you have the flexibility to manage your work schedule and most franchisees develop a healthy work/life balance over time.
The ability to develop, manage and convert quality relationships into sales is key, so expect to spend lots of time developing opportunities. And, of course, providing consistently exceptional service is always our goal so nurturing and developing your clients and team members is also a critical component of the business.
Expect to work an evening or 2 and plan to attend several business development meetings, networking events, coffee/lunch conversations, etc. (virtual or in-person) 25-30 hours weekly as you market, ramp, and manage your business.
As your business develops, you’ll be hiring staff starting with a Finance Operations Manager (FOM) followed by a Finance Operations Associate (FOA). Talent acquisition is aligned with your individual business growth to ensure you have the seasoned professionals ready and in place when you need them. Once a team is established, daily duties include all aspects of personnel management and development.

No. You will be managing a team of financial services and bookkeeping experts but are not required to be one.
Ideally, a background as a Corporate Controller, CFO, VP of Finance, CPA, or a CEO who is experienced in running a company or business division is preferred, but there is no ‘perfect’ background. Leaders come from many unique backgrounds and experiences! Our most successful franchisees are ambitious and do have a solid understanding of business finance, experience managing high-performing teams and most importantly – developing relationships that convert to sales.
