What specific business advice do you have for franchisees when it comes to succeeding in franchising? Follow the system! Don’t try to recreate the wheel. Being part of a franchise family that is transparent and works closely with you is such an amazing benefit to business ownership and is worth its weight in gold.

How did you enter into franchising? Starting a business no matter what your business goals are isn’t easy. You have to contend with employees, contractors, legal fees, marketing, sales…the list goes on and on. As an independent travel operator, continuing to operate, grow, and create innovation in my business was a never-ending battle. For me, when I first learned of the Expedia CruiseShipCenters model, it seemed surreal. I had a list of about 25 struggles that I was facing every day as a stand-alone company including recruiting, technology, and marketing. It was apparent that becoming part of their franchise system would enable me to cross off all 25 of my challenges and so much more. I can happily say beyond the shadow of a doubt that becoming an Expedia CruiseShipCenters franchisee was the best decision I ever made for my business!
