What do you enjoy most about your business? I have a passion for helping others and pride myself on providing excellent service to my clients in central California. My corporate experience allows me to help clients navigate the senior care placement process, which can be a difficult, emotional and stressful for families. The most rewarding part of working with families is when a senior finds the perfect home and I see the smile on their face.
Why did you select your franchise? To be successful in this business you must understand how to negotiate agreements with the communities in the area you cover, work with families to select the right community, and market your business. My background in customer management, operational management, and customer service leant itself well to the requirements of this business model and gave me confidence in my ability to succeed.
Was it hard to get started? With any company or franchise comes the hard work to lay the foundation, which gets easier every year. You need to follow the steps, outlined by Senior Care Authority in their training materials, and trust the process.
What advice do you have for prospective franchisees? Senior Care Authority has low overhead and a great business model for a prospective franchisees. But you do need to put the time in to learn the industry. The biggest challenge you will face is obtaining clients on a consistent basis. Your work ethic and time spent on your business will drive your success.
