We provide an outline of our methodology, but in short, all franchise brands with at least 10 franchisees in operation are invited to participate in our research for free. We contact all active franchise owners of each brand, asking 33 benchmarking questions and using responses to score the brands in seven key categories.
Brands that score in our Top 200 are featured in our annual list and publication. All others are omitted from the list. This means that any brand you find on our site has achieved this honor and is worthy of a closer look by potential franchisees. However, it is important to remember that no brand is perfect for everyone and you should always do thorough due diligence before making any major investment decision.
