Improving quality of life through routine and affordable chiropractic care. The Joint does this by offering a no insurance, no appointment base membership model where patients can come into a clinic on their own time and receive an adjustment in anyone of our 585+ locations. The membership model and our proprietary software allows our patients to receive adjustments in anyone of our clinics around the country not just at their home clinic.
The franchisor’s mission statement is simple: “Improve quality of life through routine and affordable chiropractic care.” This has been further deconstructed to facilitate action steps at every organizational level. CEO Peter Holt conveyed the three pillars that will sustain our future growth:
1. Accessibility- The Joint has the largest network of chiropractic care in the country, with 585 clinics. By moving chiropractic from hospitals and medical offices to a retail setting the franchisor can make care available at affordable prices through a monthly membership. Patients members need only scan their token at any location, as no appointment is necessary, and the average wait time is less than 15 minutes.
2. Credibility- This is achieved by providing consistent experiences with courteous, well-trained Doctors of Chiropractic. Additionally, The Joint is the largest publisher of chiropractic content in the public domain. The franchisor is working to grow general acceptance for chiropractic, with great success. In 2021, more than 27% of new patients to The Joint had never seen a chiropractor before.
3. Empathy- Getting people out of pain and helping them live better is what the brand is about—that is, cultivating a wellness mentality that facilitates frequent visits, as opposed to the model of diagnosing and repairing specific ailments when the body breaks down. With millions in pain and a national opioid crisis, The Joint offers people a natural, drug-free path to lead their best life.
Successful franchisees focus on their business every day. This includes analyzing your clinics performance with our proprietary operating platform which allows you to view key metrics in real time from anywhere. Conduct clinic visits to follow up on events that happen throughout the day. Provide business coaching and best practices to employees. Execute local clinic marketing initiatives utilizing the clinic marketing tool kit which outlines community networking and digital strategies.
The initial investment is between $203,397 and $378,697. The franchise fee for the first location is $39,900 and $29,900 for every subsequent franchise. Our royalty fees are 7% and the National Marketing Fee is 2%. We have established relationships with third party financing vendors.
We have a very detailed item 19, Financial Performance Representation in our Franchise Disclosure Documents. Included in the item 19 is New Patent Counts, Average Weekly Visits, Average Members Per Clinic, Average Gross Sales and Profit and Loss statements showing expenses and clinic profit.

The Joint Chiropractic offers a network of non-insurance, private pay chiropractic health care clinics in the United States. The network consists of modern, consumer-friendly chiropractic clinics and individually selected Doctor of Chiropractic that deliver quality pain relief and preventative care on a low-cost membership basis. The Joint is a publicly-traded company on the NASDAQ exchange under JYNT.
Initial training incudes a week of in clinic training at a regional training clinic followed by a week of corporate training and new clinic opening support. Ongoing training and ongoing support and consulting is through our local Regional Developers and Franchise Business Consultants through the learning center LMS platform.
Our Regional Developers and Franchise Business Consultants work with Franchisees to Identify opportunities to improve revenue and patient experience by analyzing all aspects of a clinic’s performance. Support tools include labor optimization models, one page business plans and tool kits covering every aspect of the business.
