Clean Air Franchise Owner Kyle Millican: ‘I Really Enjoy Helping Local Communities’

Kyle Millican opened his Clean Air Lawn Care franchise in Oklahoma City in 2019. Below is the Q-A interview he did with Franchise Business Review earlier this earlier this year.

FBR: What was it about the franchise model and/or leadership that led you to purchase it?

The service of organic lawn care or organic anything for that matter is a growing market. It has the potential to be a lucrative business venture. 

FBR: What type of business experience, education, and/or skills did you have prior to becoming a franchisee that you have found particularly helpful?

Corporate training in lean applications, people management, corporate financing, operational efficiencies.

FBR: What do you like most about your job/owning a franchise?

I like the interactions with customers and the challenges and successes for getting a lawn organically healthy. 

FBR: How did you fund your franchise? Did you receive any discounts/incentives?

FBR: What advice do you have for prospective franchise buyers?

Talk to your local Co-op or local ag division and research areas of environmental quality and organic approaches.

FBR: What do you wish you had known prior to going into franchising?  

Quantifiable ways to show improvements to the soil ecosystems.
