Franchisee Spotlight – New Again Houses Franchisee, Devin Rogers

new again houses franchise owner devin rogers interview

Franchise Business Review’s President and COO, Michelle Rowan, met with New Again Houses franchise owner Devin Rogers to discuss his path to franchise ownership and the benefits of owning a New Again Houses franchise.

Devin Rogers is a real estate investor, business owner, and entrepreneur from Dracut, Massachusetts, north of Boston. He purchased his New Again Houses Franchise in 2021. Since joining the New Again Houses franchise system, he has bought and rehabbed a total of 7 houses.

Before joining New Again Houses, Devin owned and operated KT Cleanouts, a junk removal and dumpster rental company, which he operates in addition to his New Again Houses franchise. “The two businesses really go hand-in-hand. I use the junk removal and dumpster service when clearing and renovating houses for my house-flipping business,” he said. “I get a lot of leads for buying and selling properties by meeting people through my junk removal business.” Devin has also been a licensed Realtor since 1999, enabling him to handle all his New Again Houses purchase and sales agreements.

“I have some part-time staff. I also have some subcontractors that I use as needed. As the business owner and project manager, I mostly handle everything myself and can do hands-on work in the renovations when needed,” he said. “I did have to learn to let go of being so hands-on in the remodeling so I could focus more on finding houses to buy, renovate, and sell. I’m in a very competitive market, so I really need to stay on my toes and find houses to buy, sell and renovate. I have a very strong network, which has helped me greatly. The funding, marketing, and home office support I receive from New Again Houses makes a huge difference! New Again Houses is an excellent system. They care about their franchisees. Their cutting-edge systems provide all the tools you need to succeed.”
